Ricky Sessum grew up in Augusta, Georgia, home of the Masters Tournament. At age five, he followed Tiger Woods for the first time at Augusta National Golf Course, the same year Mark O’Meara holed a 20-foot putt to win in a miraculous comeback. Years later, Ricky watched Arnold Palmer walk to the tee box on this same course with Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player for the last time as an honorary starter for the tournament. Naturally, this influenced his love for the game and beautiful golf courses.

After 15 years in the landscaping and golf industry, Ricky decided to launch Music City Turf in Nashville, TN, with the goal of creating some of the most extraordinary private synthetic golf greens across Tennessee. He traveled the country with his team, learning the artificial side of the golf industry and participating in many projects that remain some of the largest golf complexes in North America.
